Bleh, I tried to make my final pic for 2007 awesome and epic and I realised halfway through drawing this that it wasn't possible because I can't shade or draw correct anatomy or anything. And then I couldn't draw a nice background so it gets to be a character sitting in empty space like everything else I draw. Woo! ;_;
Tried experimenting with colour and stuff. Eh.

Anyway, this is my character Oxley. He's a rad space pirate captain guy and a total rip off of Han Solo.

 I was feeling a bit down when I drew this so I picked out everything I didn't like about it and screamed about it in the description. Oops. I didn't actually make my reply to this as a, er, reply.

*steals*The colors are really nice in contrast to the backround, and I like the outlining, it makes him feel more...boldish? I dunno. XD I like his hat too.
I dunno why I outlines him. I think because the lineart itself didn't stand out enough against the background I picked. xDDThanks for the comment! Oh, a second character in a bad mood...
The coloring is excellent, really. You could have put a bit more contrast in it, but there's actually nothing to really criticise. The character will be easily recognizable due to his unique clothing and hairdo. I'd love to hear more of him. Yup, good stuff. |
